Background
Since 1999 Phoenix Racks has been the leader in offering complete Refrigeration System Solutions to a highly competitive Refrigeration market. Through ongoing research and development as well as a close working relationship with our partners, we are continuously improving our product line, which not only benefits our partners but also the end-user. Superior quality, innovation and tailor-made engineering distinguishes Phoenix Racks from the crowd. Due to the fact that Phoenix Racks is not affiliated to any wholesalers it has put us in a unique position to offer our customers any mix of components or compressors. Because of the close relationship we have forged with our suppliers, we manufacture world class refrigeration systems for a number of compressor manufacturers.
Innovation as standard
Phoenix Racks has been at the forefront of many new technological advances in refrigeration and we proved our worth when in February 2000 the first full Secondary Refrigeration System in South Africa was commissioned. The racks that powered this system were one of the first manufactured in our factory; and supplied the store with fluid for Low and Medium temperature applications.
The Team
There have been many contributing factors that have led to Phoenix Racks’ success; however the most significant of these has been our staff. We pride ourselves for having been in the industry for many years and thus we all understand not only the concepts of refrigeration, but also the importance of doing the job right the first time round.

Engineered success
Phoenix Racks’ depth of experience and knowledge gained in engineering refrigeration systems for supermarkets and other applications is apparelled. Individual store requirements are engineered to best fulfil refrigeration needs and budget constraints.

We are very proud to announce that on the 25th of October 2010 Phoenix Racks (Pty) Ltd was successfully audited and upgrade the quality management system according to the standard (11/2008) and applies it effectively. We have now certification to be a licensed ISO 9001:2008 company. The auditors for the certification are DEKRA Certification (Pty) Ltd
